I'd like to introduce you to two of our great friends here in Dalat! These two have been faithful friends and sources of entertainment since we've arrived here. Whenever we see them, she is quick to bounce up to us, with an amazing smile and even better hugs! It actually feels like we're celebrities at times! They have been so determined with their English studies... If you look at their hands or arms, you'll often see English vocabulary written all over them. They will stop just about any conversation to practice pronunciation... boy, are they determined!
The other night we took them to a nicer restaurant (read it's more than $1 for a dish) in the city. It was a lot of fun. While we were waiting for the taxi, Zaya spotted a stick bug. They had never seen one before! It is so cool to be able to introduce things that exist here to people from here.

At the restaurant, we challenged them to eat pizza. It was their first time! They chose the family lovers pizza. They loved it and were impressed when we told them they could take the extra back to their dorms for breakfast.
At first they were using forks and knives. I think it may have been the first time they tried to use them!
It took quite a bit of convincing and demonstrating to get them to eat with their fingers. I'm not sure he's too comfortable with it.
